Seeking the Perfect Immersive Art Experience in NYC

I have been to a lot of immersive art experiences in NYC. I have been to rooms at the MoMA that were textured and scented. I have been to mirrored spaces at various Biennials, I have been to art barges with room after room of “experiences,” and Instagram tourist traps with light installations and plinky spa music costing upwards of $65 per head, just to lie down on a bean bag chair and bat around a clear beach ball. I have subsumed myself in low-tech rooms which had pages and pages of secrets…
